United Nations General Assembly Special Session on HIV/AIDS: Helem, Lebanese Protection for LGBT Shadow ReportHeLeM is the first organisation to work for the rights of LGBT in the Arab world. In partnership with SIDC, an organisation active in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Lebanon, and with the financial support of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, a Participatory Community Diagnosis (PCD) was undertaken between September and November 2005, in Beirut with a sample of 40 MSM.
